How it works

Four steps, about a minute

You need the device running TellyFox, and a browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Keep the app on the Portal screen while you work.

    Open Portal in the app

    Start TellyFox on the TV, stick, phone or tablet you want to change, and open Portal.

  2. 2

    Get a code

    Scroll down to Update MAC Address With QR and press Generate code. A QR code appears, with a link underneath such as tellyfox.com/rxib.

    The code is the part after the slash, in this example rxib.

  3. 3

    Open the page on your phone

    Scan the QR code with your phone camera, or enter the code in the box above. You can also type the whole link into any browser.

    Make your change and send it

    Add or edit a portal and press Send & connect. When you replace or delete a portal or change the MAC, the device asks first: press Allow on that device and it reconnects on its own.

Stalker portal, Xtream Codes login or M3U playlist, with a name you choose.

Edit or replace a portal

Fix a portal address, username or password, or swap in a new provider.

Change the MAC

Give each portal the MAC your provider registered, without typing it on the remote.

Delete a portal

Remove a line you no longer use. The device confirms before anything is deleted.

Refresh or restart

Reconnect the device to its portal, or restart the app, from your phone.

Move from another device

Bring every portal, and the licence if needed, from an old TV, phone or tablet to this one.

Safe by design

Only you can change your device

The device asks firstReplacing or deleting a portal, or changing the MAC, only happens after someone presses Allow on the device itself.
Codes expireA code works for six hours, so you can send several changes. After that, press New code in the app for a fresh one.
Guessing is blockedToo many wrong codes from one connection and it is locked out for a while.
Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t work

The page says the code has expired

Codes last six hours. In the app, open Portal and press New code, then use the new code.

The code isn’t accepted

Enter only the part after tellyfox.com/. Codes never use the letters l or o, or the digits 0 and 1, so check any character that looks like one of those.

I sent a change but the device didn’t update
  • Keep TellyFox open on the Portal screen while you send the change.
  • If the device shows Allow, press it.
  • If the app says it stopped waiting, press New code and send the change again.
Can I do this from my account instead?

Partly. If the device is linked to your TellyFox account, your account shows its portals and lets you change its MAC at any time, without a code. To add or edit portals, use a code from the app.
