Terms of Service & Privacy

The rules for using the TellyFox app, website, dashboard and reseller panel, and how we look after your information. Please read them before you buy.

Last updated: 1 October 2026Applies to all TellyFox devices and accounts

Terms of Service

Numbered sections, in plain English.

1About these terms

1.1 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and TellyFox (“TellyFox”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the TellyFox app on every device, the website at tellyfox.com, your online account and dashboard, and the reseller panel (together, the “Service”).

1.2 By installing or using the app, creating an account, starting a trial or buying a licence, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.3 Please read these Terms carefully. They limit your right to make any claim against TellyFox, exclude our liability, release us from claims, require claims to be brought individually and only in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, and set a one-year time limit.

1.4 You confirm that you are old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, and, if you accept these Terms for a business, that you have authority to bind it.

2Definitions

2.1 In these Terms: "TellyFox", "we", "us" and "our" mean TellyFox and the people who operate it. "App" or "Application" means the TellyFox media-player software on any device. "Service" means the App, the website at tellyfox.com, your account and dashboard, and the reseller panel, together. "Account" means your TellyFox account, dashboard and any codes tied to it. "Device" means the TV, streaming stick, box, phone or tablet you run the App on. "Portal or playlist" means a Stalker or Ministra portal, an Xtream Codes service or an M3U playlist that you choose and connect. "Provider" means the third party that supplies your subscription and the Content you watch. "Content" means the channels, films, series, playlists, programme guides and other media you reach through a portal or playlist you connect; TellyFox provides none of it. "Reseller" means an independent business authorised by TellyFox to sell licences. "TellyFox IP" means all intellectual property in the Service, including its software, designs, the TellyFox name and logo and related rights, that we own or are licensed to use. Words not defined here take their ordinary meaning in the context of these Terms.

3What TellyFox is, and what it is not

3.1 TellyFox is media player software. It lets a TV, streaming stick, box, phone or tablet connect to a Stalker or Ministra portal, an Xtream Codes service or an M3U playlist that you choose and are entitled to use.

3.2 TellyFox provides no content. The app ships with no channels, films, series, playlists or media of any kind, and we do not provide, sell, host, stream, recommend or link to any TV service, channel, stream or playlist. Any sample or demo shown in the app or on our website is for demonstration only.

3.3 You need your own subscription from a TV provider to watch anything. That subscription is a separate agreement between you and your provider, and it is bought from them, separately from TellyFox, for each device you use.

4Your account and eligibility

4.1 You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or make a purchase. You agree to give accurate details and to keep them up to date.

4.2 You are responsible for keeping your password and any codes secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at support@tellyfox.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

5Free trial

5.1 Each new device can use TellyFox free for a trial period, currently 21 days, with every feature unlocked. The trial is there so you can test the app with your own provider before paying. One trial is available per device; trying to obtain further trials on the same device, for example by reinstalling, resetting or changing its identity, is not allowed.

5.2 We may change the length or conditions of the trial, or end it for new devices, at any time. A trial carries no guarantee that the app will work with any particular provider.

6Licences and plans

6.1 Buying a plan gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app’s features on the number of devices your plan allows. A licence unlocks the app only. It is not a subscription to any channel, network or streaming service and it includes no content.

6.2 Device changes. A device change moves a licence from one device to another. Each plan includes a set number of device changes, shown on the pricing page; Lifetime plans include unlimited changes.

6.3 “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the TellyFox Service, not the lifetime of you, your device or your TV provider. A Lifetime or Family Lifetime licence stays active only for as long as TellyFox operates the Service for the platform you use. If we stop operating TellyFox, or stop supporting a platform, device or operating system, Lifetime licences for it end at that time, with no refund, credit or compensation. A Lifetime licence is not a promise that the app will run on any future device, operating system or provider.

6.4 Family plans cover the stated number of devices at the same time and may be shared with family and friends as described on the pricing page.

6.5 Licences and codes may not be resold, rented or transferred except by authorised TellyFox resellers. We may revoke a licence obtained through fraud, a payment reversal, or a breach of these Terms.

7Payments and billing

7.1 Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may exclude taxes, which are added where required. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

7.2 Subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly, Family) cover the period you pay for. If you save a card and switch on auto-renew, your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you switch it off in your dashboard. Price changes never affect a period you have already paid for.

7.3 If a payment is reversed, charged back or fails, we may suspend or revoke the licence it paid for until the matter is resolved.

7.4 Chargebacks. Disputing or reversing a valid payment through your bank or card issuer, instead of contacting us, is a breach of these Terms. We may suspend or revoke the related licences and ban the account and devices involved, and we may recover any fees and costs the dispute causes us.

8Refund policy: all payments are final

8.1 All payments made directly to TellyFox are final and non-refundable. This includes subscriptions, renewals, Lifetime and Family Lifetime plans, unused time on a plan, unused or unactivated codes, and reseller licence packs.

8.2 Because every new device can use TellyFox free during the trial, please make sure the app works for you and your provider before you pay. We do not give refunds because a provider, portal or playlist stops working, changes its details or is unavailable, because you no longer have a TV subscription, or because you bought the wrong plan.

8.3 No refund, credit or compensation is given if your access is suspended, revoked or banned because you breached these Terms, including by connecting a pirated or unlicensed service (see Acceptable use).

8.4 No refund, credit or compensation is given if we change, suspend or stop operating the Service or any feature, including when a Lifetime licence ends because the Service is discontinued.

8.5 Nothing in these Terms removes any right to a refund that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

8.6 Licences bought from a reseller are covered by that reseller’s own refund policy, not by this one (see Resellers).

9Resellers

9.1 TellyFox licences are also sold by independent, authorised resellers. A reseller is a separate business, not our agent, employee or partner in law.

9.2 If you bought from a reseller, your contract for that purchase is with the reseller. The reseller sets its own prices, payment terms and refund policy, holds the record of your purchase and is responsible for supporting you, including renewals, device changes, portal set-up, faults and refunds. TellyFox takes no payment from, and holds no purchase agreement with, customers of a reseller, and cannot act on a payment or refund request for a licence it did not sell to you. A reseller licence remains valid in the app while it is active and is shown in the app as a Reseller Licence.

9.3 If you are a reseller, you buy licence packs from TellyFox under these Terms, and your purchases are final and non-refundable. You must publish and honour your own terms and refund policy for your customers; represent TellyFox only as a media player; never sell, bundle or advertise TellyFox together with unlicensed content or suggest that TellyFox provides content; handle your customers’ data lawfully; and comply with the laws that apply to your business. We may suspend reseller access, revoke unused codes or end the reseller relationship if these conditions are not met.

9.4 TellyFox is not responsible for any act, omission, promise, price, statement, refund decision or conduct of a reseller, and you agree not to bring any claim against TellyFox about them.

10Acceptable use

10.1 You may use TellyFox only lawfully and only with content you have the right to access. You must not:

  • use the Service to watch, record, share, redistribute or sell content you are not licensed to access, or to help anyone else do so;
  • copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, re-sign or repackage the app, or remove or bypass its licensing, integrity or security checks;
  • clone or spoof device identities, or otherwise try to get more devices, device changes or trials than your plan allows;
  • share your account or licence beyond what your plan permits;
  • interfere with, overload, scrape or probe our servers, pairing codes or APIs, or use automated means to access them;
  • use the Service to break any law, including copyright, broadcasting and consumer protection laws.

10.2 You are solely responsible for the portals, playlists and content you connect, and for having the right to use them.

10.3 Before you sell, give away, return or otherwise pass on a device, remove the App and clear your portals, playlists, logins, codes and any personal information saved on it. You remain responsible for anything done through a device or account you hand on without clearing it.

10.4 Pirated and unlicensed services

10.5 We do not watch or monitor what you view. We do, however, store the portal and playlist addresses saved to your account, and we may review them, or act on a report from a rights holder, authority, reseller or other user.

10.6 If we reasonably believe that you have connected a portal, playlist or other service that distributes content without the permission of its rights holders, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove or block that service, suspend or permanently close your account, revoke your licences and ban you and your devices from the Service. No refund, credit or compensation is given in any of these cases.

10.7 Hacking and tampering

10.8 You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, our servers, our API, our accounts or data, or another user’s device or account; probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission; forge, replay or automate requests to our API; or run, distribute or help others obtain a modified, cracked, re-signed or cloned copy of the app, or any tool that bypasses its licensing, trial, integrity or security checks.

10.9 If we reasonably believe you have done any of these things, we may, without notice and without refund, block your devices and accounts permanently, revoke every licence linked to you, and cancel any reseller relationship. We keep records of such activity and may report it to law enforcement and pursue civil claims against you, including for the costs of investigating and repairing it. Genuine security researchers who find a weakness are asked to report it privately to support@tellyfox.com and to avoid accessing anyone else’s data.

10.10 Accessing, recording or distributing pirated content may be a criminal offence and may expose you to civil claims by rights holders, and you alone are responsible for those consequences. Where the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, we may keep relevant records and share them with rights holders, law enforcement or the courts, and we may take or support legal action against you, including claims for copyright infringement.

11Third-party services and devices

11.1 TV providers, portals, playlists, programme guides and the devices and platforms the app runs on or casts to (for example Android, Google TV, Fire TV, Chromecast or smart TVs) belong to third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, quality, legality or terms. Your use of them is governed by your agreements with those third parties.

11.2 Casting, sending video to or controlling another device is done at your own risk. TellyFox is not responsible for any effect on that device, your network, your provider account or any line a provider limits or blocks.

12Ownership and intellectual property

12.1 The app, website, dashboard, reseller panel, their design and code, and the TellyFox name and logo belong to TellyFox and are protected by intellectual property laws. Buying a plan gives you a licence to use the app; it does not transfer ownership of any part of the Service. Other names and logos shown on our website are trademarks of their respective owners, and their display does not mean they sponsor or endorse TellyFox.

12.2 Reporting infringement. We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you own or control a right and believe that material reachable through, or shown by, the Service infringes it, send a notice to support@tellyfox.com that includes: your contact details; what the right is and what material is affected; where it is (for example the portal, playlist or address); a statement that you believe the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law; and a statement, true to the best of your knowledge, that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We review valid notices and may remove or block the material and suspend or ban repeat infringers. Because TellyFox hosts no content itself, where the material sits on a third-party portal or playlist we will also point you to, or act in relation to, that provider.

13Updates, changes and discontinuation

13.1 We improve TellyFox regularly. The app may download and install updates, and features may be added, changed or removed at any time.

13.2 Some updates are essential: needed for the Service to keep working, to stay secure, or to meet a legal or provider requirement. Essential updates may install automatically and cannot be turned off. Where an update is optional, you may be able to decline it in the app’s settings.

13.3 Promotion and in-app messages. We may promote the Service and show our own notices, offers or advertising inside the App, on our website and in the dashboard, for example banners, in-app messages or contextual promotions. This does not change how we handle your personal information, which is covered by our Privacy Policy.

13.4 We may discontinue TellyFox. We may stop offering the Service, or any part of it, for any platform, device, country or everyone, at any time and for any reason, including closing the business. When that happens every licence for what is discontinued ends, including Lifetime and Family Lifetime licences, and no refund, credit or compensation is owed. We will try to give notice where we reasonably can, but we are not required to.

14Suspension and termination

14.1 You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access, block or permanently ban you and your devices, or revoke licences, without refund, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service, other users or third parties. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as refunds, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, survive termination.

15No warranty

15.1 TellyFox is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind.

15.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, TellyFox disclaims all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including any warranty of merchantable or acceptable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, non-infringement, availability, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and any warranty arising from dealing or usage.

15.3 In particular, we do not promise that:

  • any TV provider, portal, playlist, programme guide or stream will work with TellyFox, keep working, stay online or keep the same address or login;
  • the app will run on any particular device, operating system, network or casting device, now or in the future;
  • any feature, platform or the Service itself will continue to be offered;
  • playback will start, continue or reach any particular quality, which depends on your provider, network and device;
  • your portals, settings or data will never be lost.

16No claims and limitation of liability

16.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree not to bring any claim against TellyFox, and TellyFox will not be liable to you, for anything arising from or related to the Service.

16.2 This covers, without limit, claims about: a TV provider, portal or playlist going down, changing, blocking you or ending its service; any content you access or cannot access; outages, bugs, updates or removed features; device, network or casting problems; loss of portals, settings or data; suspension or termination of your access; and TellyFox stopping or discontinuing the Service, including the end of Lifetime licences; the acts or omissions of resellers, payment processors, hosting providers or any other third party; any unauthorised access to your account, devices or data; test, trial or beta versions of the app; and any decision you make based on the Service.

16.3 Use at your own risk and release. You use the Service entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and forever discharge TellyFox and its owners, directors, officers, staff, contractors, suppliers, successors and assigns from all claims, demands and losses of every kind, known or unknown, arising from or related to the Service. The people named in this section are not personally liable to you in any circumstances, and may rely on these protections themselves.

16.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, TellyFox, its owners, staff and suppliers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, use or goodwill, however caused and on any legal theory, even if told that such loss was possible, and our total liability for all claims together is zero.

16.5 Where a law that cannot be excluded does not allow liability to be excluded entirely, our total liability for all claims together is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount you paid directly to TellyFox in the twelve months before the first claim arose, and (b) twenty Canadian dollars (CAD $20).

16.6 Individual claims only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action.

16.7 Time limit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred.

17Indemnity

17.1 You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TellyFox and its owners, directors, officers, staff, contractors and suppliers from and against all claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses, including legal fees on a full indemnity basis, arising from or related to: your use of the Service; any portal, playlist or content you connect, access, record or share; any claim by a rights holder, broadcaster, TV provider, authority or your own customers; your breach of these Terms or of any law; or your infringement of anyone else’s rights.

17.2 We may take over the defence of any such claim at your cost, and you will cooperate with us. You may not settle any claim that affects TellyFox without our written consent.

17.3 You agree that breaking the Acceptable use, hacking, tampering or intellectual-property terms may cause us harm that money alone cannot fully repair, and that in addition to any other remedy we may seek an injunction or other equitable relief to stop it, without having to post a bond, and recover the legal costs of doing so.

18Changes to these terms

18.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. We may also tell you about a change on this page, in the app or by email, but the updated Terms apply from the date shown whether or not you saw a notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19Worldwide use and governing law

19.1 TellyFox is offered worldwide. You may use the app, website and dashboard from any country where doing so is lawful. You are responsible for following the laws of the country you use TellyFox in, including laws on copyright, broadcasting and the content you watch. We may limit or stop offering TellyFox, a payment method or a feature in any country.

19.2 Ontario law. TellyFox is registered in the Province of Ontario, Canada. These Terms, your use of the Service and any dispute or claim about them are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, wherever you live or use TellyFox.

19.3 Ontario courts only. Any legal proceeding about TellyFox or these Terms must be brought only in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts, agree to appear and take part in any proceeding there in person or through a representative at your own cost, and waive any objection to that venue, including that it is inconvenient.

19.4 These choices of law and courts apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Only where a law of your country that cannot be excluded by agreement requires otherwise does that requirement apply instead, and only to the extent it requires.

19.5 Notice before any claim. Before starting any legal proceeding, you must first send a written notice to support@tellyfox.com that describes the problem and what you want, and give us sixty (60) days to resolve it. A proceeding started without this notice may be stayed or dismissed.

19.6 No jury. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and TellyFox each waive any right to a trial by jury.

20General terms

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and TellyFox about the Service. Nothing said by a reseller, in an advert, a message, a video or support chat changes them or creates any other promise.
  • Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including provider or portal outages, internet, hosting, power or payment failures, cyber attacks, changes by platform owners such as Google, Amazon or device makers, changes in law, government action, natural disasters, war or illness.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it is limited or removed only to the minimum extent needed, and the rest stays in full force.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, including to a buyer of TellyFox.
  • No reliance. You confirm that you have not relied on any statement or promise that is not written in these Terms.
  • Language. These Terms are written in English, and the English version applies over any translation.
